What Is the In2Care Mosquito Trap?
The In2Care Mosquito Trap is an innovative, EPA-registered biocontrol system designed to target Aedes mosquitoes — the species responsible for transmitting Zika, Dengue, and Chikungunya. Unlike traditional sprays that blanket your yard with pesticides, In2Care uses a two-pronged biological approach: a slow-killing fungus that infects adult mosquitoes and a larvicide that kills larvae in nearby breeding sites.
When a mosquito enters the trap to lay eggs, it picks up both the fungus and the larvicide on its body. It then flies to other standing water sources in your yard and deposits the larvicide there — turning the mosquito itself into a delivery vehicle that eliminates breeding sites you can't even see.

The 4 D's of Mosquito Protection
Professional mosquito control works best when paired with personal prevention. Follow these four steps to reduce your exposure to mosquito bites.
Drain
Eliminate standing water around your property. Empty flower pot saucers, bird baths, clogged gutters, buckets, and any container that holds water for more than a few days. Mosquitoes need as little as a bottle cap of water to breed.
Dress
Wear long sleeves, long pants, and socks when spending time outdoors — especially at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active. Light-colored, loose-fitting clothing offers the best protection.
DEET
Apply an EPA-registered insect repellent containing DEET, picaridin, IR3535, or oil of lemon eucalyptus to exposed skin and clothing. Always follow label directions, especially when applying to children.
Dusk & Dawn
Limit outdoor activity during peak mosquito hours — the hour after sunset and the hour before sunrise. If you must be outside during these times, combine repellent use with protective clothing for the best defense.
